Workers’ rights are an integral part of fundamental human rights. Nevertheless, human rights violations in the workplace are widespread around the world: every day, millions of people face exploitative working hours, poverty-level wages, humiliation, and mistreatment in the workplace.
Together with experts from all over the world, the international team at the Global University of Labor has developed this Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on workers’ rights. This course explores what international workers’ rights entail, as well as the tools and strategies that can be used to realize them. Through a carefully curated mix of video lectures, reading materials, online resources, and interviews with labor activists and experts from various countries, you will gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to further advance workers’ rights.
